I think it's worthwile pointing out my thoughts on the matter.

I just committed some small modifications to the TODO, with my comments
on the things to done - whether they're feasible, or necessary, or
whatever.

Lately, I haven't had any time at all to work on Kopete. I don't see
this situation improving until December, either. (ack!). Thus, Till's
now as much the Jabber maintainer as me. He has a complete free rein in
protocols/jabber, and you should consider his word on anything Jabber as
authorative as mine. Of course, I'll still be able to answer emails and
maybe help people with some coding and questions and stuff, but I won't
even be able to match my effort writing the vCard stuff, probably (and
that was about the worst dialog box hack in known history).
