This is rather strange. An ICQ user, alpha754293, IM'd me for the first time but \
appeared in my contact list as me. Moreover, my ICQ name has two high ASCII \
characters, one at each end, which appear on all other ICQ clients I have used as a \
sort of star with a hollow center. In Kopete, these characters appear as a lower-case \
letter "i" with two horizontal dots instead of one. (not a big deal) The first issue \
is particular weird though. I can view his user info, and at first the name appears \
as mine, but after the info is looked up (or whatever occurs--after about 1.5 \
seconds) the proper name appears. Restarting Kopete did nothing, as he is still \
listed as me.  I have made a few captures of the Kopete windows:

Note that after deleting and re-adding this user, the name appeared properly.
