Nick, please reply to <bugnumber>@bugs.kde.org for bug reports next time. 
First of all, the reply might be very useful in the bug database for e.g. 
people skimming over the bugs with KBugBuster. But more importantly, many 
submitters are not subscribed to kopete-devel (the subscribers tend to post 
directly, outside the bug system...) and hence they wouldn't read the reply 
you send. Of course you may have just recognized Rob's email address as a 
subscriber, making my second point moot in this case. The first still holds 
true, though.
