kde-common is a bunch of misc stuff plus the autoconf/automake stuff. Each 
module has admin/ , but  the -l flag on the 'cvs co' commands I've listed 
makes cvs only checkout the root directory and it doesn't recurse. Since it 
doesn't recurse, admin/ isn't put into kdenonbeta on a cvs co. Chances are, 
that if you didn't need to the extra steps I listed, you checked out 
kdenonbeta *WITHOUT* the -l option.
