Bug ID: 373232
Summary: Horizontal lines with fractional HiDPI scaling
Product: konsole
Version: 16.08.0
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: konsole-devel@kde.org
Reporter: lukebenes@hotmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
Created attachment 102604
--> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=102604&action=edit
Screenshot taken on KDE Neon
Steps to reproduce:
1. Displays -> Scale -> Scale Factor: 1.3
2. Restart
3. Open Konsole, type stuff
Expected Results:
Same as before scale
Actual Results:
Random horizontal lines appear and disappear.
Different scale factors seem to make this better and worse, but I was able to
reproduce this reliably in both KDE Neon and Arch with a 1.3 scale factor.
Fonts don't seem to affect this as they use different system fonts.
Verified in:
KDE Neon Version 16.08.2 and
KDE Arch Version 16.08.3
