Dear mr. Robert,

You are mentioned as maintainer of Konsole. I hope I can put the
question I have regarding Konsole to you.
I have searched and tried to find a solution, but did not succeed. I am
not sure of the problem we have is related to Konsole or that it is kde
related.
If you are not the right person to put the question to, would you be so
kind to point me in the right direction?

We use Konsole daily as a way to access our servers in the datacenters.
Currenty we are using a version of Konsole that has a fixed width of the
tab pages in Kosole.
A new tab opens just right of the current tab. All tabs have a width
that is dependent of the text in the tab name.

In de new Konsole (different kde version) the tab witdh is dependent of
the screen width instead of the text width in the tab name.
We have several Konsoles active, most of them with a different number of
tabs in them. Due to this it would be of great convenience to us if we
could switch the tab width to be dependent on the text in the tab name
again.

Could you please help us out in this? Is there a way to switch this
behavior?

Many thanks in advance,

Bert.
