I understand the possible confusion for new users but having the items in a sub-menu \
makes them more difficult to get to.  Unfortunately since the menus are quite wide - \
because of the long shortcuts needed in the terminal (two modifiers plus another \
character) opening sub-menus can be tricky.  The simplest option to avoid confusion \
might be to not make Shell a favorite by default.
