I understand the possible confusion for new users but having the items in a \
sub-menu makes them more difficult to get to. Unfortunately since the \
menus are quite wide - because of the long shortcuts needed in the terminal \
(two modifiers plus another character) opening sub-menus can be tricky. \
The simplest option to avoid confusion might be to not make Shell a \
favorite by default.
