Summary: wishlist: Support for zeroconf via kdns-sd API
Product: konsole
Version: unspecified
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konsole-devel kde org
ReportedBy: robin.perkins internode on net
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
It would be great to see support for zeroconf in a similar fashion to the Mac OS X \
terminal. This may involve a simple command 'Connect to Server' in the Session menu \
that would open a selection window. This window would allow you to select a service \
type such as ssh, sftp, ftp or telnet which in turn would propigate a list of all of \
instances of that particular services currently on the network (and also running \
zeroconf).
It could maybe also be done using the bookmarks menu.
Implementation would also be fairly straight forward by using kdenetworks kdns-sd \
API.
This may also be a solution for bugs such as \
