Bold works again, although it noticably differs in behavior from KDE 3.5.3's Konsole. \
My guess is that bold worked in earlier versions only for non-colored text. 

My bash prompt uses a "1;31" color code for one of its sections. With this patch, \
this is interpreted als "bold light red". In 3.5.3 and earlier versions, it was \
interpreted only as "light red". Despite that, bold text in the output of various \
command line utilities I use worked fine in 3.5.3 (and stopped working in 3.5.4).

Interpreting it as "bold light red" is consistent with xterm, however. Time to find a \
light red that isn't bold for my prompt ;-) \
