Subject: [Konsole-devel] Bug#34235: Custom font for body text in Konsole does not work with antialiasing

Package: konsole
Version: 1.0.2 (using KDE 2.2.1 pre)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake Linux 8.1 (Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.1 2.96-0.61mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.8-19mdksmp
OS/Compiler notes:

When running antialiased fonts and choosing 'Courier' under custom font the \
characters do not align under eachother.

This makes e.g. pine look awful.

But when choosing 'Large' the alignment reappears and pine looks nice.

'Large' seems to be 'Courier'. But it seems something is done to force it to have \
fixed width when chosen as 'Large'. Maybe you should do the same to any font when \
used for konsole?

/Ole
(PS. This textbox is much too narrow)
