Subject: Cut/paste with quick double-click then middle click broken
From: joe@skyrush.com

Package: konsole
Version: KDE 2.2.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

This seems to be a regression from KDE 2.2, and
the behavior is now different than for other terminal
programs:

If I double-click on a word (e.g. filename) and
then quickly press middle mouse to paste, it does
not see the last click. If I wait slightly after
the double click, it does see the middle click
(and paste occurs).

It seems as though Konsole is seeing my middle
click after the 2 left clicks as part of the
same click sequence and not realizing that
since it is a different mouse button that it
is a different operation.

Since I often use this cut/paste method for
filenames, this is troublesome. As I said,
it works correctly in other terminals (e.g. Gnome) and apps in general.

(Could this be due to work on the triple-click
for lines I read about? If so, it should
notice that the 3rd click is a different button.)
