I need to set $XTERM to 'xterm-color'. I've set it in /etc/profile (I'm using 
bash). I've tried to set it with XTerm*termName: xterm-color in both 
.Xdefaults and /etc/X11/app-defaults/XTerm.

... and Konsole just ignores any attempts and happily resets $TERM to 'xterm'.

Reading bug #32770 didn't bring me closer to a solution. So, is there a 
solution to make Konsole *not* ignore my wishes?
