Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 2.2.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: gcc 2.96 (RedHat 7.1)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When trying to start konqueror the application does not show up.

I append the output of strace konqueror
write(7, "\2\2\2\0\225\0\0\0s\0\0\0", 12) = 12
write(7, "\0\0\0\17konqueror-2189\0\0\0\0\5kded\0\0\0\0\t"..., 66) = 66
write(7, "\0\0\0\10\0f\0i\0l\0e\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377\377"..., 83) = 83
read(7, <unfinished ...>

where 7 is assigned to the dcop communication:
open("/home/sven/.DCOPserver_Nabla.local.net_:0", O_RDONLY) = 7

I am not ex DCOP expert, but it seems like konqueror initializes communication with \
kded (the kde-daemon ?) but does not get a response, in xsession error I find

DCOP aborting while waiting for answer from 'kded'

Well, maybe this is a but in kded. But, the other applications do start...
