Summary: Evince plugin initialization leads to Konqueror
becoming unresponsive
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: Fedora RPMs
URL: https://start.fedoraproject.org/
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: crash
Priority: NOR
Component: nsplugins

Reporter: code@daniel.priv.no
Fedora 24, Konqueror version 4.14.21. Problem also happen in Fedora 22 and
Fedora 23. Tested on multiple systems.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo dnf install konqueror evince-browser-plugin
2. konqueror
Actual Results:
Konqeuror stops responding while loading the start page
(https://start.fedoraproject.org/ by default). Loading bar stopped at 89% every
time. Konqueror never recovers and has to be force-quit.
Expected Results:
A fully functional browser that doesn't freeze on the first page.
Work-around:
sudo remove evince-browser-plugin
Notes:
Doesn't happen on super-simple pages that doesn't use any JavaScript.
Other distros:
openSuse and Debian has bugs mentioning this problem in passing, but no bugs
