Bug ID: 344633
           Summary: The HTML entity "$" comes out as "$lar"
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
               URL: data:text/html;base64,PCFET0NUWVBFIEhUTUw+JmRvbGxhcjsg
                    YW5kICZkb2w7Cg==
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: khtml
          Assignee: konq-bugs@kde.org
          Reporter: bert@w3.org

The HTML character entity dollar ($) results in a rendering of the four
characters "$lar" instead of the single "$" (Unicode character U+0024). The
non-existent entity &dol; is rendered as a dollar, although it should be an
error (and rendered as "&dol;" under HTML5 parsing rules).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write HTML containing $ anywhere in text content, or copy the data
URL above
2. Open it in Konqueror.
3. Notice that it displays as $lar

Actual Results:
$lar and $

Expected Results:
$ and &dol;
