If still you have SSL dialog issues with in kmail, then please open a new bug
report against kdepim/kmail. The last I remember kmail use kdepim which relies
on its own method of storing certificates through kleopatra. IOW, if you cannot
reproduce the problem with Konqueror or reKonq when vising secure sites that
fail SSL certificate verification, then the issue is not a KIO issue.
