attempted to import bookmarks from another computer running the identical
version of KDE and Konqueror.
bookmarks were exported as .html file, the only version allowed
when importing said file on second computer, bookmarks do not show up, blank
bookmark editor, irrespective of whether imported as new bookmarks or replace,
etc.

Reproducible: Always




Konqueror does not export bookmarks as KDE bookmarks, consequently, cannot
import KDE bookmarks into Konqueror on another computer running Linux and
Konqueror.
Bookmarks are exported as a .html file, which Firefox is able to import but
loses folders.
KDE seemingly cannot import a file exported from the same version of Konqueror
running on another system.
This has been a problem for many years.
