You can follow the instructions outlined to install debug packages for your
distro and start the app (konqueror) using gdb from the command line:

Since the problem you have in not a crash, you would need to press CTRL+C in
gdb once you get Konqueror to freeze before you issue the backtrace command
outlined in the above howto: "thread apply all bt".
