kio_http_cache_cleaner is a stupid plague, and it is run with default best
effort/4 IO priority, so it quite aggressively is competing with user
applications for bandwidth, which sucks tremendously. when i had troubles with
a severely slow disk and a highly fragmented btrfs disk (terribly great
combination for a root filesystem ^^) at times i had this lo0p running in the
background:
while [[ 1 ]]; do sleep 1s; killall -v kio_http_cache_cleaner ;done
How can it cause +1MiB/s disk traffic for minutes anyways ^^
