https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267251 Summary: Tools -> HTML-Settings -> enable JavaScript doesn't work Product: konqueror Version: 4.5.5 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: khtml AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: crendgrim@web.de Version: 4.5.5 (using KDE 4.5.5) OS: Linux I disabled JavaScript for all pages. Now I wanted to enable it for a certain page what IMHO should be possible through the "Tools -> HTML-Settings" menu. However, enabling JavaScript there doesn't affect the behavior of it at all. JavaScript remains disabled (this means: doesn't work, but is enabled in the menu) also after a reload of the page. If you close the tab and reopen the same page, JavaScript isn't shown enabled any more. JavaScript works if you enable it through Konqueror's options menu, so the KHTML-Settings extension seems to be broken. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: see above. Part 1: * Start Konqueror (with the KTHML-Settings extension enabled) * Disable JavaScript globally * Go to any page which uses JavaScript * Enable JavaScript through the Tools-Menu Part 2: * Close the tab and reopen it (or open the page again in another tab) Actual Results: see above. Part 1: JavaScript isn't working. Part 2: JavaScript isn't enabled anymore in the Tools-Menu Expected Results: Part 1: JavaScript works. Part 2: JavaScript remains enabled -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Konq-bugs mailing list Konq-bugs@mail.kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/konq-bugs
