Summary: google autocompleter popup won't go away
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: benderamp@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=56783)

popup outside konqueror
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux
See steps to reproduce and screenshot
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open konqueror and maximize
2. Open some other app and maximize
3. Goto konqueror and put keyboard focus to the top right search box with
selected google
4. Type some symbol (eg "1") and quickly switch from konqueror to another
window before suggestions popup would appear (put the mouse to taskbar and
click on another window task just after typing symbol "1" with another hand)
Actual Results:
See that suggestions popup would appear above another window. It would be
rather hard to get rid of it as it will not react any events - I can click
anywhere on the application window, show desktop, switch desktops etc - the
popup will not go away until I go back to original konqueror window and dismiss
it from there.
Expected Results:
The popup should not show up without parent konqueror window focused, and even
if it still pops up, it should be easily dismissable just by clicking mouse
anywhere outside popup without having to switch to original konqueror window.
