That happens rather often, last time noted this when was navigating though this
site:

Opened this link in one konqueror tab - it was loading for rather long time
(that might be caused by the overall system perfomance at this moment). While
it have been loading, konqueror window was not responding - could not click on
other tabs. I also had other konqueror windows with other tabs opened - they
did not respond too; though I also had another konqueror window on which I
could switch tabs (probably it was started in another session). While konqueror
did not respond my actions, the whole system did work normally - I could switch
windows on plasma taskbar, switch tabs in firefox, and as said even one
konqueror instance also worked. 

Afte a while the freeze went away and konquror switched tabs multiple times -
following my clicks on them when it was not responding.
