I can reproduce the valgrind trace... both the backtrace and the valgrind log
point at a problem in Qt's text layouting engine, but might need a bit more
investigation before heading to bugreports.qt.nokia.com

some infos about the state of the combobox widget right before it crashes in
its sizeHint():

Qt::WA_PendingResize == true,
Qt::WA_PendingMove == true,
isVisible(), !isHidden(),
font().key() == "Sans Serif,-1,14,0,50,0,0,0,0,0"
count() == 87
