Actually not. While it is true that if you do not use Konqueror for (local)
file management that links can not be opened in a Konqueror window being used
for (local) file management, Konqueror is still used for browsing (not web
browsing as there are some file types which must be opened in Konqueror [e.g
SWF & WAR) and as an FTP client (which *is* file management). So, there are
still Knoqueror windows that may be open that you do not want web links added
to.
