since a few days i'm getting "connection to host xxx.xxx is broken" when trying
to copy (small) files from my local machine to a server.

konqueror begins to copy the file, but stops after a few bytes with the above
error.

i'm using KDE 4.3 as my working environment, but keep 3.5.10 updated, just in
case. using konqueror 3.5.10, even from within a running 4.3 session, fish
works fine. (afterwards the 4.3 version of konqueror won't connect via SSH
anymore at all, though.)
