Indeed, the regression itself is fixed. There is a visual annoyance that the
new window appears for a very short time in the top of the screen, disappears
and later appears again in a new position. This is especially visible the first
time you click on the button, after further clicks the disappearing/appearing
is very fast.
As this is not related to the original report, I'm fine with closing the bug,
especially if you cannot reproduce this flicker.
