Constantinos, could you post your Konqueror and KDE versions? Mine is
Version 4.1.00 (KDE 4.0.99 (4.1 RC1+))
Using KDE 4.1.00 (KDE 4.0.99 (4.1 RC1+))
also it seems this behavior is not exclusive to just Konqueror and affects kmail, yet \
kopete is unaffected. That is to say kopete can successfully communicate across the \
internet while kmail, konqueror, and akregator do not. What ever back end is used for \
these three would probably be responsible though I admit I do not know much about \
these services. One more thing I am not sure if I have menitioned before is that it \
seems this is specific to certain network connections. For example in my University I \
am able to use konqueror and kmail without a problem. Yet at my home wireless \
connection I cannot use konqueror. Very odd. I am not sure what I should look at as I \
am not familar with network things. Perhaps if there is any information I should look \
at and report it might be helpful if someone could point me in the right direction I \
would be happy to post the neccessary information.
Thank you,
AhmedG.
