------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154868 Summary: side bar width resize issues (pulsing height, removed framelayout/search bar) Product: konqueror Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org ReportedBy: apriori dkc-clan de Version: (using KDE KDE 3.97.0) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc version 4.2.1 Configured with: ../gcc-4.2.1/configure --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu --target=i686-pc-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --sharedstatedir=/var/com --localstatedir=/var --libdir=/usr/lib --includedir=/usr/include --infodir=/usr/share/info --mandir=/usr/share/man --enable-shared --enable-threads=posix --disable-libmudflap --enable-nls --with-system-zlib --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-languages=c,c++,java --enable-bootstrap --disable-werror Thread model: posix OS: Linux If you open the konqueror sidebar with e.g. F9, choose one of its components and start to resize it using the sidebar->renderwindow separator, the sidebar's height pulsates, meaning it grows a bit too large and shrinks (very fast) while the sidebar is resized. Also it's notable that the search bar is removed (maybe intentional) and the frame layout of the sidebar subwindow breaks (removed). Steps to reproduce: 1.Press F9 2.choose e.g. "Bookmarks" sidebar item 3.start resizing the sidebar window with the splitter and watch the window size (height) and layout carefully.
