Hello there, this seems to be quite an old bug.
On jpegs saved from the digital camera, the reported behaviour still is seen, despite \
this bug being fixed. When the jpegs are saved from The Gimp (or your favorite paint \
program) without thumbnails but still with EXIF data, and then try to rotate them \
from Konqueror, nothing happens. Using kde-3.5.7 on a Gentoo box.
