Version:           3.5.8 (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3)

This is a bug which occurs when I enable proxy, which requires authentication.

No matter how I set my proxy (manually, through environment variable), I get the answer:

An error occurred while loading http://www.google.com:
The file or folder www.google.com does not exist.

This occured after an upgrade from KDE 3.5.7 (Ubuntu Feisty->Gutsy) where the same settings worked fine.
I'm typing this from a Firfox session from the same PC/user account with the same proxy settings.
