Let's say you have dir S and D, S with root privileges, D with user, and file F (again user! privileges) in S.

You move file F from S to D. Konqueror copies file and then show dialogs reporting there is problem with file F. It is not true, the problem is with directory S. 

Please trace access permissions and show exact cause of the problem, I use linux for a while so I can figure it out, but for regular user this is really a misinformation.
