Version:           libkonq-3.5.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

The following patch was originally posted to KDE Apps \
(http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/BalloonFileTip+patch?content=21480) for KDE \
3.3/3.4. 

This patch has been kept alive via various overlays under Gentoo as well as in \
various binary distributions. Not sure if this patch was ever officially submitted to \
KDE (preliminary search did not turn up anything).

If there is sufficient interest from the community and the patch passes QA for KDE, \
it would be nice to integrate this patch to libkonq.

In simple terms, the patch makes the popup tooltips for kdesktop/konqueror icons to \
have rounded corners similar to the way Kicker presents it. This looks more appealing \
and consistant, especially since Kicker already does this now.

I have an updated and clean patch for KDE 3.5.7 to be attached.
