Summary: New apps added to KMenu - needs notification
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED

          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: mailinglist endosquid com

Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.7-0ubuntu1~feisty2)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-ck1

When adding new apps, it's sometimes a struggle to know where in the Kmenu structure \
that the icon for the app is. Let's have some way to indicate this, via:

1.) Pop up that says "Hey, foo was installed and can be found under the "System" menu
2.) A category that has "New apps" and a list of the last 5 apps that have been \
installed. Can even be an option for how long before turning this off \
