Any Javascript code than has that general pattern fails to execute with the error:

"TypeError: Object [object Object] (result of expression { }) does not allow calls."

I get this error for all of the following code segments:

"{} (x);"
"if (true) {} (x);"
"while (false) {} (x);"

There is no error in the following:

"function f() {} (x);"
