Summary: kwallet not triggered on multi-page bank login forms
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: khtml
AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: dkesh bostoncoop net
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Banks in the U.S. are more and more switching to a multi-part login process. First, \
you enter your username on one page. Then you get another page with challenge \
questions (or you can bypass this page if you register the computer with the bank), \
then another where you are shown a picture and a phrase which are associated with \
your account so you know this is not a phishing site. On this page, you enter your \
password. See, for example, http://www.ufcu.org and the explanation \
http://www.ufcu.org/accounts/member/online/index.php#login
KHTML/kwallet will remember the password for the bank site, but will not remember \
your username, because there is no "password" associated with the initial form. \
KHTML should recognize these forms as remember them even though there is no password. \
