Version:           3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-gentoo-r1

When I want to report a bug as root via the in Konqueror integrated \
bug-report-wizard, konqueror fails to open the bugs.kde.org page.

I have tracked this down to a problem related to
kfmclient. kfmclient even fails to do simple things
like 

/usr/kde/3.5/bin/kfmclient exec .

When run under a normal user I have no problems.

Qt: 3.3.6
KDE: 3.5.5
kfmclient: 2.0
