Summary: Konqueror should encode all special symbol is url's in
                    address bar
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: rohandhruva gmail com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1

OS: Linux

Konqueror, unlike other browsers, does not encode special characters like \
spaces .. which makes it difficult to copy paste from the address bar. IMO, \
there are no advantages except cosmetic ones of leaving the url un-encoded \
anyway ?

Also, this feature makes it quite difficult to copy paste url's to programs \
like "wget".

And, this also happens when I right-click on a link and choose "Copy link \
location" .. the url is left un-encoded there too.

Can we hence have konqueror encode all such url's ?

Thanks ! :)
