I have this problem too.

Easy reproduce in KDE 3.5.4:
Open a download on sourceforge, like \
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/transkode/transkode-0.6b2.tar.bz2?use_mirror=belnet
 Before the auto download starts click on the link in "Your download should begin \
shortly. If it does not, try \
http://belnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/transkode/transkode-0.6b2.tar.bz2 or \
choose a different mirror". When the auto download asks if I want to save it, \
konqueror crashes.

It happens every time.

I'm running Gentoo 2006.0. Havn't had to problem in earier versions of KDE, maybe it \
has to do with sourceforge's new site and the way it handles downloads now. \
