Summary: Input fields jump out of fixed element during page
                    scrolling
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: khtml
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: zyzstar uid0 sk

Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

If you place a form input field element onto "position: fixed" element it jumps out \
of this fixed area during a page scrolling.

Please refer to the following test-case:

http://zyzstar.kosoru.com/data/bug_reports/konq_bug.html

This issue not only causes an ugly flickering but it also significantly slows down \
the page rendering speed and causes a high CPU load - especially over a remove X \
Window System session or inside VMWare Player environment.

I was able to reproduce this problem in older Konqueror versions (3.2.3, 3.3.2) as \
well.

I think this issue could be related to bug #68721.
