Another interesring observation: I found that on fast  PC with Radeon Mobility 7500 \
the rendering is aparently slower than on slow old PC with old GForce4 MX or even \
slower PC with Intel.

So I guess something might be wrong with the radeon driver or the way how KDE/Qt uses \
