           Summary: transparency composite not consistant
           Product: konqueror
           Version: 3.4.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: arturj freenet de

Version: 3.4.2 (using KDE 3.4.2, Debian Package 4:3.4.2-4 \
                (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.14

This Bug applies not only to konqueror but all kde applications. It appears when true \
transparency (composite - mode) is activated:

When I start a new konqueror window it is displayd without transparency (my setup). \
When I activate an other window the konquerer window becomes transparent (again my \
setup). This is how it should be.... but...

when I open the windows kontext menu (e.g. right-click on the titlebar) the \
transparency of (any) window is fixed to the actual value. Activating or deactivating \
that window does not change transparency any more (but it should).

This is very anoing, sinse most the time this happens when the window is transparent. \
So I have to close the application and restart. Or I have to change to 100% \
opacity... _______________________________________________
