This feature is a necessity to ease use of presentation media, and help people create plateform independant content, easy to distribute, and to archive for future use.
Opera is paving the way with their 'Opera show' feature; my guess it that as with other technics they have first implemented (tab browsing or mouse gesture to name a few), I'm pretty sure other browser will copy it.
