Summary: Customise what counts as a "Hidden File"
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: toby tarind com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Konqueror has an option to Show or Hide Hidden Files. Im guessing that this affects \
dot files. I often find I have files that I would like konqueror to treat as hidden \
files to avoid clutter, but which do not have names that start with a dot.

Two common cases for me are:
1. backup files named filename~
2. python bytecode files named module.pyc

One obvious approach is to have some indication in the file type .desktop file that \
it should be classed as hidden. _______________________________________________
