I'm Using Konqueror on Slackware 10 which as a low permission level to devices.
If you Use it whitout root you will get a kde freeze because it's isn't
able to find a readable cd device for the Audio Cd Browser.

This is a thread on a forum which has a better description and the solution
for this problem.

Note: at the beginning I supposed that freezes where caused by ati drivers
then I understood that it wasn't but it was a kde problem!.
