If you check "Show Preview" inside the Edit->Preview menu, the IconViewPart still \
does not necessarily show previews. It depends on whether or not previews are enabled \
for the current protocol in the Previews and Metadata KCM. Therefore, I propose the \
following:

1. Gray out all the check boxes under Edit->Preview for protocols under which \
previews are disabled.

2. Consider adding a "Configure Protocols..." or something under Edit->Preview in \
order to access the Previews Metadata KCM.

No need to deceive your users!
