This shouldn't happen. There is code to reread /etc/resolv.conf in the KDE Libraries. \
And I've already fixed this for the next iteration (for future KDE 3.3) with \
brand-new code that stat(2)s /etc/resolv.conf.

Anyways, you can't expect running programs to notice changes in configuration files. \
