Summary: more animation - Cogs turning and a character that does
things for me.
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: Mandrake RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: nei.lingard@btopenworld.com
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
More animation:
I would like to see more animation to let me know things are in progress. Like cogs \
turning when i look in konqueror - the pictures of the binaries of running \
applications. Something similar to the cogs on folders (in the left hand pane) when \
i'm trying to open a big directory.
The notion I have is that my computer never stops doing things and I'd like to see \
animation of these things (somewhere) happening. So I can just admire my computer at \
work without actually doing anything (being more ituitive to learn) - Just to watch \
it. I'm looking here at a stale screen with just the cursor blinking.
A little guy on the screen that does everything for me ie picks up a file (in his \
hand) and holds up a menu or something maybe if i then click on the recyle bin he \
runs over presses the pedal to put it in for me. And does other things. I point a \
click and he does the things i want. This could even be used instead of a progress \
bar if i can actually see how far he's got to go. \
