I have tested the applet with the OBJECT tag (Debian unstable - KDE 3.1.3) - doesn't 
work: ClassNotFoundException. I tried to extract the archive on the server and see if it 
will find the class -- no good, didn't run, same exception. You mention "I had to backport 
some fixes to get it working :-)" - maybe that's the reason you can run it and I cannot. 
 
Any suggestions?
