Summary: [Backspace] key should take you one directory higher in
                    kfm
           Product: konqueror
           Version: 3.1.1
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: peter.bittner@gmx.net

Version: 3.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

In the Konqueror file manager (kfm) I have found no way to go up one directory (i.e. \
doing a "cd ..") using the keyboard only.

In Windoze generally the [Backspace] key has this function. Can this be made a \
feature of kfm, too?

P.S.: To explain, using the mouse to enter a directory is easy, but to go up one \
directory requires a lot of mouse movement: You have to move the mouse up to almost \
the very left upper corner of the application's window to hit the "up"-arrow button - \
since there is no ".."-entry in the file-list (which is absolutely okay for me). In \
my opinion it is usually much faster and convenient to hit the [Backspace] key on the \
keyboard. _______________________________________________
